I Manifested All This From a Photo on My Fridge
Many of you have been asking, "Where are your social media reels and lives? Where are your weekly blog posts? Where have you been?"
I’ve been a little preoccupied lately: Just manifested a beautiful new condo with tons of closet space, two huge bedrooms, and all-new kitchen and bath.
And I did it after just a 2-week search in a down-market with very few units available on the market to choose from!
(Plus, I’ve been in the process of shuttering a 20-year brick-and-mortar business: And it’s also miraculous how just the right resources and advice have manifested to guide me through that process.)
But back to the condo manifestation: Keep reading for how I did it, why I wanted this particular condo (rather than an opulent showplace, like some coaches do), and a simple 6-step process so you can manifest whatever you want, too.
But first, want to see the unit? It’s in a major U.S. city, an up-and-coming artsy neighborhood, for a crazy-affordable price:
Law of Attraction is Real
First, I have to say: I had never wanted to be a condo owner because I didn’t want to be tied down. But recently, I started to resent paying so much for rent. I felt the universe trying to move me in a new direction for my next chapter.
And, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money to buy property. I’m still kind of a hippie.
I did have a disconnect with the idea of owning versus renting (see step 6 below): Money in the bank is something that always makes me feel wonderful, whereas possessions and “things” aren’t that important to me.
Financial investments are part of my magic (more about that magic in another blog post, maybe), so pulling out a lot of money to buy a condo with cash absolutely did not thrill me.
But, the universe kept telling me that it was time to stop paying rent. At all. And . . . for several years, I had had this picture on my refrigerator of a dream place I’d love to live in. Someday. Maybe.
So, about this picture on my fridge
This picture of a gleaming white kitchen, comfy sofa and chairs, kind of minimalist (but somehow also cozy), and a gorgeous bedroom wasn’t the kind of place I’d rent: It would be thousands of dollars a month. It didn’t even make sense that I had cut out the picture and put it in my kitchen in the first place.
But I just loved it. I guess I had thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if I could live in a place like this?”
That picture was on my refrigerator for three years (step 4 below). I looked at it every day, but not in any kind of focused, serious, I-must-manifest-this kind of way.
Then, the universe stepped in.
Once I decided that I was not going to renew my lease this year, I took the picture from my fridge and put it on the cover of my Condo Hunt binder (see step 5 below).
Again, I didn’t think about it too much. I just thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if I found a really pretty condo to own instead of just buying something to live in as an investment?”
“But, don’t you have to realllly focus, if you want to manifest something?”
Well, at this point, I didn’t realize I was manifesting this exact place.
What I was afffirming to the universe was: “Let’s magnetize the perfect place where I will be happy, have lots of natural light, will be structurally sound, at a price I can easily afford.” (See step 1 below.)
That was my entire mantra. And I wasn’t saying it over and over and over in an obsessive way. I just had confidence that, since the universe was creating a situation in which I felt that I had to stop paying rent and had to buy a condo, I was going with it.
Any time I started to worry about this situation, I’d just repeat the affirmation.
I wasn’t focusing on what the ideal condo had to look like. It just had to feel right to me.
I looked at different neighborhoods, different price ranges (from really, really cheap to a little bit outside my comfort zone), and I even looked at basement units. I remained objective and unattached (step 2 below).
After all, it was just an investment. And I had to look at anything that kind-of worked for me because very few units were on the market.
Some of you might be thinking: This doesn’t really sound like manifesting. Aren’t you supposed to really obsess over the thing you want and really work to manifest it?
I say no. That never worked for me. I’ve always liked to be more open-ended and not “strangle” the things I want.
It doesn’t have to take a long time
I looked at about ten places and was most interested in two of them. Both were offered at very reasonable prices for the gorgeous places they were.
In fact, I decided against the unit in the cushy, upscale neighborhood because it would have felt, to me, that the unit was “wearing” me rather than being an expression of me.
And, it was only at the last minute that I realized I had actually manifested my dream home.
It happened on the day of the home inspection. I was flipping through my Condo Hunt binder and happened to see the photo that had been on my fridge for a few years. I showed it to my realtor, “Look! I didn’t realize that I’d manifested this!”
(By this time, my realtor knew that I’m a magical coach, so it wasn’t strange to talk about manifestation.)
She agreed that it was virtually the same as the photo — but bigger, newer, and better.
I realized that the universe had actually project-managed the whole process for me, just as I had asked them to (step 3 below).
So, how can you do this, too?
Law of Attraction Secrets
Here’s how you can manifest anything you want:
Be specific, but only on the non-negotiables. Let the universe fill in the details. You’ll likely receive something even better than you expected, just like I did.
Keep your dream outcome alive on the back burner of your mind, but don’t overthink. Stay calm and loose and know that the universe has your back.
Ask the universe to project-manage the whole process for you: The best thing, at the best time, at the best price, in the best way for everyone concerned. Once again, stay relaxed: Don’t badger the universe every two seconds. Only focus on this step first thing in the morning and again before bed — or when you start to worry about the outcome.
Get yourself a visual representation of what you think you want, and keep it where you’ll see it every day (like magnetized to your fridge), but don’t try to force anything to happen.
Every time you see the picture, just be flooded with happiness about how pretty it is or how much fun it would be, or how this is the perfect job or the perfect person. Just joy and fun, not stress.
If your “thing” is something you want or need to manifest soon, give it a “home”: A binder or notebook that will bring the desired thing or outcome to you. This is the magical place for your dream to incubate. Enchant it by laying hands on it and tasking it with bringing your dream to you.
Decorate it, bless it with magical oils, sleep with it under your pillow, meditate with it in nature — whatever feels the most powerful to you. You can even do automatic writing in it. Ask the universe to dictate your next steps, if that feels right.
Pieces of information, drawings, spiritual helpers, magical spells will start showing up and asking to be added to your grimoire.
If you’re buying a home, like I was, this is also your place to record all of the nitty-gritty: The research you’ve done on the steps to buying a home, various properties you’ve seen and how you’ve felt about them, important activities and dates on the way to the closing.
Once you’ve created a book like this, it can be your template for any other manifestation you want to create in your life: Jobs, travel, relationships, anything.
One last step: Ask yourself, “Am I in congruence with my dream?” Ask yourself if you’re ready to have it. Ask yourself which beliefs or feelings you have that are fighting against your manifesting the thing or situation that you want? Put all of these realizations in your notebook.
Let me know how it goes! What are you wanting to manifest right now?
