22 Questions to Ask Tarot Cards

Would you love to get a tarot reading, but don’t know what to ask?

Maybe your relationship is okay (or you don’t really want one), your health is fine, your job is good enough, and you don’t have any of the pressing concerns that cause people to come to a tarot reader.

But. You might have a vague sense that life could be better. That maybe you’re missing something.

Or you wonder about your unique genius and your destiny. Do you have one? Is it completely different from the life you’re living now?

Many people come to me “just wanting to know what the cards have to say.” And, to be honest, that used to irritate me.

Because I’d think, “Really? There’s not one single thing you’d like to ask infinite intelligence?”

Sometimes, people just want to “test” a tarot reader. To see whether the cards can come up with some elusive bit of information that no one knows. As if tarot is some kind of mentalist parlour trick.

But there are more insightful ways of receiving the most from a tarot reading — even if you don’t know what to ask.

“Ummm. I don’t know. Just pull some cards.”

Before we move on to that, though, I have changed my mind about those uhhhh-just-pull-some-cards people.

Sometimes, something very interesting does come out when I just pull some cards. And, eventually, during the reading, the client usually does come up with some questions.

But, almost always, they would have gotten so much more from the reading had they thought about their lives for even a few moments before their tarot appointment.

Here are a few tips ons how to get the most from a tarot reading.

Questions to Ask Tarot Cards and Receive Mind-Blowing Answers

Here are just a few ideas for questions you can ask tarot cards, or questions you can ask next time you’re having a tarot reading.

Wouldn’t you love to receive divine guidance from the tarot about some of these questions?

If you already own a tarot deck (you can find some of my favorite decks here), grab your deck and ask some questions.

When you pull a card, spend some time really looking deeply at the image on the card and think about what it’s trying to say to you.

Think about how it makes you feel. The message is usually found somewhere in the image of the card you pull.

Relax your vision and try to zone out a little bit and relax as you look at the card. It will speak to you.

The guidebook that comes along with the deck usually doesn’t help much in interpreting the card.
